Thread: Have you ever thought about giving up?

I have thought about it, but I just keep going. I mean, I might as well. There's nothing else to do. haha.

If you want to look at it from a negative standpoint, you can always make the realization that if everything comes to an end, so will our civilization and species, so will our planet and galaxy and our universe - and everything you've done will be washed away in the fiery rain of the cosmos, making every single thing you'll ever do absolutely meaningless.

Sometimes it's good to give up when doing a project. Even if a lot of money has been invested, if something doesn't work, it won't work in the upcoming years neither (except for some projects). I've given up some projects already just because they took too much time, but I'm still having them on my PC and maybe once in my life I might go further on with them!

i give up all the time.. frustration, lack of motivation, etc.. but eventually, i come crawling right back for more punishment.. it's a love/hate kinda thing..

Yes many times it happened with me and I switched off my and went outside . But in midnight I get upagain and think if others can do then why can't I . And you can find me online just after few hours again .

This does remind me of a great quote from Winston Churchill:

Yeah, me too. But then I get payment from the client and that re-motivates me and makes me go crawling right back for more punishment....

It is a love/hate thing. Hate the job, love the paycheck.

I just take a break and come back in a week or so.

well they do say that from a million ideas it only takes one good idea to make it in life...i didnt start blogging yet,but you always think of giving up,no matter what you do,but you know,its coming back what matters,it doesent matter how many times you give up,if you come back stronger every time
