    How to avoid blogger redirection window?

    I purchased a domain name for an existing blogspot blog and submitter redirection. But while giving the blogspot url it shows a window saying

    You're about to be redirected

    The blog that used to be here is now at http//www,newblogname.com/.
    Do you wish to be redirected?

    This blog is not hosted by Blogger and has not been checked for spam, viruses and other forms of malware.

    how it can be avoided?

    The only way I can see how to avoid the redirection page is to disable the redirect feature altogether.

    If you go to your Blogspot blog control panel, under Settings and then Publishing there should be a link to Switch to Custom Domain or equivalent. From there you should be able to access the advanced settings page. I think if you turn off this feature then you won't have that page coming up anymore.

    However, your Blogspot blog won't redirect to your domain any more so I guess you have to decide just how important that is to you.

    I tried that..But actually i need the blogspot blog to be redirected to my own blog. Else there is no meaning for hosting it in my own domain name.

    All I need to be done is I want redirect my blogspot visitors to my blog without showing the redirection page.

    Just realized that there is another way. You can try a HTML redirect. Put the following code between the <head> </head> tags:

    <meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;url=http://www.yourdomainname.com">

    Replace the 0 with the number of seconds the browser window should wait before redirecting visitors. Replace the sample domain with yours.

    See if that works
