:O Wow, that's awesome for a first flip!

How long did you keep that site though? My friend only put about 2 hours into each of the blogs, so he was effectively working for $25 per hour, and, for a newbie, that's pretty good.

Still, $1200 for your first flip is amazing! I bet that was an established site though?

  2. I spent only on the domain and hosting.

And the worst part is the content was not even too original. I was a noob so I did not know anything then.

It was a free template, i just took info from other sites, edited a bit and pasted.

Lucky for me I SEO-d it well and got first page SERPS for lots of stuff.

It was aviationearth.com (It has changed a lot since i sold it)

your newbie friend is lucky because is having friend like you who already have an experience in flipping site. So he can get tips from you. But for some newbie, it's unlucky because they have no one to asking about flipping. And as i'm already write, mostly newbie is fear to invest. In flipping, investing is definitely needed

  4. I am a little unsure about what flipping a site means? I figure from what I have read here is that you make a site and develop it and then sell the site off to someone else after you have done all the hard work to get viewer going to the site. Are you able to do it will a free blog such as mine? Or can it only be done with a domain you own?

  5. Selling blogspot / wordpress hosted blogs is illegal

Haha. Alright. Thank god I didn't try. So, you can only do it with a domain that you own. Which would make sense. Thank you for letting me know before I tried something stupid.

    Hi guys,
I am just new to this forum and this topic just attracted my eyes. So,here i go:

As many of the webmasters here know that blogging is not a main source of money online. But some think that blogging can pay more money online.I usually get only a few dollars by blogging. But the majority of the amount I get online is by doing services and Adsense!! and i also get some dollars by Affiliate Marketing.

Thanks and yay i made my first post!!

Actually newbie can make money using no blog with become reseller of a product (affiliate) but using redictering page. Because to make own site is not really easy for newbie.

I just know about it, so hosted blogspot flipping is illegal? So, for flipping site, we need to use own domain? But it's no longer a problem since the price of free blog domain is so cheap (if it's flipped)

I don't fully understand what you mean, but if I'm correct in thinking what I think you mean, then this should be said:

Blogspot/wordpress domains do not belong to you. They belong to either Blogspot (Google) or wordpress, and therefore you can't sell something that doesn't belong to you. Likewise, Blogspot and WP have the right to take the domains off you at any time.

Hey but even we use own domain, blogspot and wp is still belong to blogspot and wordpress. But why if we use own domain, we can sell it?
