why don't you think youre doing it for the client while youre writing articles for your own site
I enjoy writing articles FOR OTHER people more than I do for myself. I suppose the main reason is that article creation is my sole source of income - I'm probably one of the poorest people here. Besides that though, I don't have a lot of time to build my websites and I'm at a complete loss as to what I can do to get on track and start earning again. I never enjoyed blog comment posting for advertising - that got me nowhere. Even when I posted relevant comments most of those weren't "accepted". Guest blogging works incredibly well for traffic - but not clicks. Forum posting is boring unless it's here at NB. Twittering worked great for me. My websites aren't good enough for a facebook page or anything like that either, so my "advertising" options are pretty worn out.
My big question here is...does anyone have a step by step plan? For some reason I have absolutely no trouble helping other websites rank and become profitable, but when it comes to my own stuff I'm failing. I have good ideas but I keep feeling STUCK.
Thanks (in advanced) guys!
You may be able to make more money selling completed sites as opposed to providing writing services or perhaps team up with a designer.
The other issue is that you are in a catch 22. You focus your energy on your clients work and don't have enough for yourself. One solution is squeeze in a project for yourself. Even if it means just a few hours. So you can eventually break the catch 22.

IUf you can give me article Quality which must ezine pass I'll asked your sample article if you are interested to sell
So how long did you keep it up, before you decided you are "stuck", I mean, did you try to work on your blog for 1 month,2,3,4,5 .. how long before you loose your interests and by woking I mean promoting it, making backlinks, and content .. you said you don't have a problem with content, so what about other stuff?
You really need to stick to one plan untill you see some feedback or you will be cought in an endless loop of fustration and failing attempts .. think about it
