I was having a chat with Farrhad on this...
He has experience with this.
What are your views on multi author blogs? I can clearly see conflicting views in any partnership unless both parties compliment each other.
You?

Build businesses, not quick money makers.
I have two multi-author blogs:
Let's Sermo- Here I just have friends who post. This is not revenue sharing. On this blog I earn almost 400$ a month.
The Blogging Park- This is a blog, where all profits are shared. It is doing terribly. Here people say, "He has not yet posted, so why should I".
At the end of the day, all that matters is who is on your team.
Also, I have The Dollar Diary. Here I am with Swas, and the blog is doing very well as Swas and I sync, and there is no blame game or anything at all.
I had 2-3 partnerships before. The only one that is working and is rocking is with youHope it continues like this.
I was also planning to start a hosting company but I backed out...LOL!!! *rings bells?*
I have heard about TBP haha
You are in bad company I guess![]()
Steven here, my friends.
Believe in God.
It's not that bad. I just think people didn't consider the time/workload that it will take and are being slightly lazy in terms of article writing.
In general, I think multi author blogs are a great idea (if everyone co-operates) because it gets the different perspective from different people.
Farrhad really has a lots of experience in it. TBP really rocks with Multi authors. I feel if you have more authors then it would help you a lot in implementing more great ideas.
Yeah, but you don't want too many or it starts to get complicated
Personally I think 2-3 authors is best, as it means that you can all keep in touch easily and there's no worrying about whether someone got your email or something.
I do feel it's important to get different perspectives from different authors, though, and that's why I try and get as many guest posters on my blog as possible.![]()
In my opinion, partnerships blogs add a little something you can't get on blogs owned by a little person. Getting two opinions for the price of one is quite entertaining I'd have to say.
But that is just my opinion.
Someday I'll get back into this seriously... (sigh)
