Thanks for the links Sneaky. I will have to look into Social Marketing but I am decent with SEO (read a few articles about it) I just need to find the time to do all this. Busy busy busy lol!

Promoting by making a contest is good way to get visitor for your blog.

A contest is a great idea! Have any suggestions for a contest for a Money Making blog?

If you're the money making guru, you should be able to tell us ;p

Seriously though, try getting loads of sponsors and then work out some sort of a point system (like the contest here on WMP). For example, you get 1 point per quality comment, 2 points for tweeting about teh blog and 5 points for writing a blog post about your blog.

Then, at the end, the person with the most points wins. You have to make the prizes appealing though, so make sure you have at least one fairly big cash prize in there.

I personally hate point systems, but yeah, if you're running a making money blog, you should probbbbably know some stuff already.

At any rate, you could also try things like "submit your top money making idea" and the most interesting one gets the prize, or a caption contest, etc. Something fun and easy for your readers.

I know a lot about making money, but getting ideas for a contest are totally different.

there is 2 type of contest : drawing and top point system
for reader, as my experience, drawing system is more interesting, but as a personal, i prefer top point system
