    Porn Star Bloggers

Keep you begging for more. I can't stand bloggers such as Passive Income: The Smart Passive Income Blog , Pro-blogger and their ilk. These drug-pusher bloggers are even worse than the list bloggers (10 popular food mixers to avoid etc.) IMO

Some of the income numbers seem a bit padded. They are possible, but not likely.

    SecurityGuardTrainingHQ.com: Adsense: $2,419.66

Actually, I am surprised that this guy is publishing his revenue breakdown.

Even if the revenue is padded, this goes to show that you need a lot of different revenue streams to make a living online.

That's some good revenue for ranking No.1 on the 'Security Guard Training' keyword.

Yeah, but in a very short time he will have hundreds of new competitors setting up similar sites. That is why I'm surprised he is publishing the revenue data.

I show it as number 5 in google.
Not on first page of bing (I did not go beyond the first page).

Now, you have a blog and you want to get up in the SERPs?
And get more visitors than you normally do?
DO A TOP TEN, TOP 25, TOP 100....
Top Ten Ways to be a Porn Star Blogger (damn, I think I will have to actually do a blog post on that!).

Now I am not saying a top ten reviews on condoms is good, or bad.
Just that give those top list blogs a little slack.
    They do know their market!

That is to keep the hungry readers coming back to figure out how to get a slice of the pie themselves. But what they don't get is that you need to be an 'A' list blogger. Making a niche blog about camper vans won't get the revenues unless you are the 'A' list blogger blogging about it IMO. And maybe the Adsense income is due to reader's paying back by clicking on the links?

I think it's better to read how-to guides on forums where a blagger will get flamed since they don't command the audience. And these guides are to the point, not dragging out the details, and devoid of loads of SEO padding.

90% of his income comes from affiliate programs:

Affiliate Earnings (primarily from SPI + other niche sites):
Market Samurai: $4,154.88 (market samurai free webinar replay)
Bluehost.com: $31,050 (Create a blog in less than 4 minutes with Bluehost)
iPhone Apps w/o Experience eBook: $708.33
    Thesis Theme for WordPress: $950.00
Long Tail Pro Keyword Research Tool:$10,770.99
Aweber: $1,346.44 (my collection of top email list strategies)
    Elance.com: $108.00
    99Designs: $26.00
    E-Junkie.com: $146.60
    Virtual Staff Finder: $75.01
Build a Blog That Matters Course: $730.73
OptinSkin by Glen Allsop: $1,186.82 (my review and bonus!)
    Jon Cooper’s Backlinking Course: $128.12
    The Best Spinner: $1,675.97
    Unique Article Wizard: $1,494.00
    LeadPlayer (my review): $1,086.60
    Amazon.com from SPI: $452.21
    Total: $56,090.71
    Previous Month:$45,903.20
    Difference: +$10,187.51

And 90% of that has to do with building and marketing a blog. In other words: He needs to show off. And he probably invests quite a bit into marketing to keep his show ponies rising.

For all I know he may just break even when you compare money spent on marketing these sites vs. income from them.

Those sites give him the credibility to get curious people coming and believing if they "imitate him" by buying what they believe worked for him, he will reach his true goal which is making affiliate money.

Added: This is about the same site from 2011, so if it wasn't for him blogging about his sites, what would he do to get people to buy those programs through him?

SecurityGuardTrainingHQ.com has a good concept of the 50 state map and ranking on the Geo terms.

But doesn't seem that the formula can be repeated. This site seems to be a clone: howtobcome.com
