I read it on Twitter as a follow up to an article on Blogging Tips.com I think. I'll see if I can find it.

Thats a good idea and I think I might just give that a go in the near future. I've never had anyone subscribe before

Subscriptions...i dont subscribe to things because i waste a lot of time as it is,anyway, and i think that most internet users dont subscribe i dont know the reasons, for me its because i dont have a need for it,if i want to see new posts i just go to the site and look up what i am interested in

while its also true. its not the usual case for some. the world is just so busy that one need to be buzz or emailed to remind them of their needs to read their subscription.

I understand that, but in my opinion,if you really need someting, like doing research, you will remember to do that,if I would subscribe to,3 blogs that have a lot of daily posts like gizmodo or lifehacker,i would waste 30 min or more daily just reading everything, but at the moment i just take a look when i get online,or when i have time. This way its better,at least for me

I like that tip and I've actually been more appreciative towards email notifications for stuff I'm interested in lately. If you're interested in many things you probably wont just remember all o it by yourself.

Also, maybe providing a "bookmark" button or a bookmarklet would be helpful too. I also like to see the huge attractive RSS icons on blogs, and if you tweet, a big "follow me" button too.
