I would do that if there is a way to turn comment off in sections. Old gossip Yes, but I would still like to have comments on movies reviews and bio and such.

Even if you did not see a movie till a year after it is out I being a new site would still welcome your thoughts on that movie.

Tou can turn comments off in individual posts: Quick Edit (Posts>Edit > hover under post title) and click on quick edit. Then 'check off' the 'allow commmets' box.

Thanks for that but that would take hours My site has almost 2000 posts on dial up.

Is there a way to shut off categories after 30 days would be the best thing?
