Hybrid View

  1. Using Yahoo Answers?

    Hi,

Using Yahoo Answers to get backlinks is quite a popular method now.

    Anyone have any good results?

I did it for my Aviation site and got a few visits.

    Cheers!

    Yes,
I have used Yahoo Answers when I used to run an affiliate site. It did quite well and I used to get 200-800 unique visitors a day while using it.

    Wow! 200-800.

How many questions would you answer? And what % would be best answers.

Traffic for me would always in double digits.
Maybe the niche is the reason.

I would answer 50 questions a day with about 15% best answer.

  5. 50 questions must have been very time consuming, I generally answered 5 a day.

Now I am planning to hire a Yahoo Answers poster, cheap and saves time.

Yahoo Answers is cool, but aren't the links Nofollow? It doesn't seem like it can generate that much traffic though. Can anyone inform me on the proper usage of it?

    Yes it is no follow.

But you can link to your new posts and get them indexed very quickly.

Btw you can contact KDisk, he has extensive knowledge about it. He will gladly help you.

I have been a good user there earlier, and used to answer many questions a day and i think am at level 3 right now. But have not seen any huge benefit with it, than just answers to a couple questions that i asked months back

I'm not much impressed with Yahoo answers as most of the answers are not satisfied by the visitors. I think, it is a waste of time.

  10. It sounds like a lot of time for not much traffic.
Probably good when you run affiliate sites..
