  1. What to look out for while buying a blog?

    Hi,

Some people like to start off with already established blogs.

Here is what you should look out for:

-Revenue -> Most important, it mainly decides the blogs value.
    -PR
    -Content
    -Design

    Anything else?

The community. If the site has loads of comments, it clearly has a good community, and that's a big factor whilst buying as, in my opinion, comments are extrememly important. I'd also look for a good amount of traffic, too.

If i wanna buy etablished blog i will look the pagerank and the traffik. The pagerank should be good but valid, and there should be a traffic. If PR and traffic is OK, then it's easy to me to monetize it.

Okay, i'm gonna disagree as usual.

It depends on what traffic you get.

If you get traffic from an ad/link on a jokes site to your make money online blog, i think you will earn nothing.

Numbers are not everything. It is the quality and the target of the traffic.

If i get 10k visits from an untargeted site, I don't think I'll make anything. But if i get even 100 visits from a targeted site I may get an affiliate sale.

Yes. Well, maybe not a deep interview, but you should definately ask for screenshots of traffic and traffic referals. That way you can see where the traffic is coming from.

But, yeah, don't be afraid to ask a load of questions when you're buying a site. I mean, it's your money, so why would you buy something without knowing all the details?

    That's what i mean simon
Because buying a blog is not just $10-$20 investment, it's big investment, even some people is dare to pay a thousand $ for just buying blog whenever actually their can use the money for established new blog. So, need thinking deep and see many factor to decide buy/no.
