I was so excited about wordpress 2.9 but after its release when I updated it, I landed with

Other than oEmbed not working for me, I have not seen any other problems.

Some of my plugins are not compatible, but I guess thats an issue with the plugin
I did one upgrade to wordpress 2.9 but I'm waiting for wordpress 2.9.2 before updating the rest of my blogs.
Given the way that WordPress does continual updates, 2.9.2 should only be a few days away.
The best part of working with WordPress is that they are always fixing the problems.

I recommend upgrading to 2.9.1. Just noticed a couple of blog were hacked including one running wordpress 2.9![]()
If 2.9 was hacked, 2.9.1 probably won't prevent that. It looks like it is just a bug fix release.
If you have not already done so, you may want to harden your WordPress installations. I have been doing this to my blogs for several years and none have ever been hacked.

I haven't had any issues keeping my Wordpress blogs secure. I am happy with the way my website's are going, and Wordpress is such a great platform to build up a blog
