2-3 tech issues.. I checked into the forum and realize its not only me other users are facing similar issues..

What other issues have you seen?

Other than oEmbed not working for me, I have not seen any other problems.

Given the way that WordPress does continual updates, 2.9.2 should only be a few days away.

The best part of working with WordPress is that they are always fixing the problems.

The worst part of working with WordPress is that they are continually coming up with new versions to fix the problems.

If 2.9 was hacked, 2.9.1 probably won't prevent that. It looks like it is just a bug fix release.

If you have not already done so, you may want to harden your WordPress installations. I have been doing this to my blogs for several years and none have ever been hacked.

How To Secure WordPress

Thus far I have not found any bugs with 2.9.1, but some of the new features that were touted for 2.9.1 do not seem to work for me.

I haven't had any issues keeping my Wordpress blogs secure. I am happy with the way my website's are going, and Wordpress is such a great platform to build up a blog

I've already taken some steps to harden. If that doesn't work, I'll limit the permessions to the database.

I have some blogs that never have been hacked and others that have been hacked multiple times.
