I agree as well, using those flash banners and stuff makes it really slow to load.

You are right according to faster loading of page. But what if someone is looking to make money through affiliate network or advertisements? I think webmasters who are in this business either need to put off all those adv or need to shut down their business .

You can still make your website load faster if you know how to compress those flash based banner. There is not only to do with the flash banner but you also need to have higher bandwidth from hosting company.
