Thread: Artisteer

    Artisteer

I saw an ad for Artisteer on one of Will's websites, and decided to take a visit. I've been fiddling around with the trial version, and I must say that it is absolutely excellent - and am almost tempted to go as far as recommending it. It is very easy to use (follows the same sort of interface as the Microsoft Office products), and can export as a regular HTML document, or into one of three different CMS's - Joomla, Drupal or WordPress.

At a price of $130 USD, it seems very reasonable. For every design that I have owned/own rights to, I have paid $60+, meaning that I would only need to create 2 designs to make it a worthwhile purchase. The only thing that I would like to see implemented in later releases... is some sort of way to make room for / place ads.

Looks very interesting, I might give it a shot when I decide to revamp a few sites of mine.

if you goto digitalpoint templates forum you will find most of the wordpress templates are designed with artisteer only. To give it a try choose few of them, and goto their stylesheet and check.

Great idea. I might be interested if we start building blogs.

I wonder how good the coding is for each of the different blogs. If you buy it let us know how well it works.

I have used its trial version and must say that its pretty good to use. By using wp codex and hacks you can create wonderful themes though they wont be having any additonal features unlike the premium themes sold which you can add manually if required

  6. That is pretty darned cool!

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

I've downloaded and tested it today and I must confess I'm impressed.

This is the "best designer I've ever hired" 'till today.

I might have to re-design a few sites 'cause of it.

    Thx a lot for sharing.

You're absolutely welcome. It's making me think about starting some new content websites now.

  9. Nice! I think I'm still gonna order my templates from designers though

This looks great. I think I'm going to buy this.
I'm not gonna use this alone to make templates, but I will use it to start. Then I manually edit the templates to my needs. This is going to save time and money.

    Thanks Chrles!
