Thread: Content Building with Amazon Mechanical Turk

Hybrid View

  1. Content Building with Amazon Mechanical Turk

Amazon Mechanical Turk is a very odd system for working with writing subcontractors.

It doesn't allow the freedom of communication that connecting with writers on web forums does. It doesn't have the full suite of process management features that RentACoder does.

What is does offer is speed. If you put an article request on Amazon Mechanical Turk, you can get a completed article back in an hour.

If you're requirements aren't very specific and your time frames are short, this might be something you would like to try.

I had the chance to try AMT today and the article I received was not of very good quality ( yet another wannabe indian writer ).

I may try again sometime next week to see if the quality is any better.

Can you share a bit more?
I mean like how much you've paid, turnround time, etc...

  5. I've done it several times. I paid $9 to $15 for articles. I received each article in about an hour. None of the articles were great, but they were all usable.

They have some very strange jobs on MTurk. One job involved reviewing pictures of roads to find drains and lamp posts!
