Thread: Drupal made easy

  1. Drupal made easy

I just found out about Buzzr which advertises as "Drupal Made Easy". They have videos showing what it can do in the demo section.

You know, I'm not at all surprised to see a service like this happen. People often accuse Drupal of being complicated, but they usually don't understand the elegance and simplicity with which it's built. It is from the ground up simply far cleaner and more sensible than that other big CMS with a funny name starting with J.

So it's bound to give birth to things like Buzzr. I bet it was just a matter of creating a few custom modules and put them together into a neat package.

    Yes, I'm a Drupal fanboy.

With good reason,Drupal is probably one of the most,if not THE most capable CMS (or should i say CMF) out there. If you know html/css and php and some javascript too,you can do virtually anything with Drupal.

    Indeed.

I'm fairly good with html/css, but not that much with php and javascript, yet I can still do a whole lot with Drupal. I do sometimes modify php in templates, with some help from google when needed, but I don't write any of my own code nor do I really need to.
