It's been a while, when I logged in my Feedburner A/C, it gave instructions to transfer my Feedburner A/C to Google.

I haven't used feedburner in a while as well. I just set up Email Subscriptions and PingShot for a new blog and the same thing happened.

You know that Google is going to pick up a feedburner feed fast

Well worth using feedburner. Google has also intergrated Google Analytics with AdSense For Feeds, FeedBurner

To some it isn't news. But a lot of webmasters have forgotten about their feedburner accounts..
