Question Have a Doubt about reducing keyword rank

    Hi,

One of my client own rpgshow.com.

For the keyword " rpgshow " , the site gets rank #4 in google.

And in the same way for the " rpgshow " keyword, one of his another site " complaintsboard.com got rank #5 so he want to down the rank for complaintsboard.com and get it to page 4 or 5 in search engine.

So what do i need to do to down the rank?

    thanks in advance!

    May I ask why?

I mean, people fight for ranks and he wants to demote one of the sites?

The reason behind this might help me find an answer for it...

Shenron , As far as I know from my Knowledge on SEO related activities I can say that the second site mentioned complaintsboard will have some bad reviews about rpgshow which Arunkumar wants to remove.

@Arunkumar, the entire process is called Brand Protection or Brand Guardian. You need to remove the bad removes from the first page as 80% of people look for a keyword only on Google's first page.

There are many ways to make this go down on search engine. You can contact me directly to know more details.

I don't know and i did not asked him the reason.
He said that he want to rank down and he removed the hosting for it too.
    Only the domain is alive.
He asked the price for it to down the rank.
    I am confused

Why doesn't he 301 Redirect the other site instead of just removing it?

I'm guessing that he doesn't "own" the other website. Rather, someone bad mouthed his business on that website and he feels so insulted about it that he wants it to be pushed down the rankings.

Like Shenron says, otherwise just leave a big blank website with nothing at all on it, no title etc.

Google will probably remove the site fast because the lack of content. But 301 redirecting seems the best as he could win some extra free traffic with it

Its ok if you want to lower the ranking for irrelevant keyword. Just do one thing, remove that particular keyword from the other website and let Google crawl your website.
