Need advice on creating an ebook

I am writing an ebook for a software tool. This being my first attempt on writing such a book, I need some guidance for the same.

Can someone point me to a good professional looking word templates, best practices etc for writing an ebook.

Results on Big G are not so impressive.

Microsoft's own Office Template Home Page is a great place to find Word templates.

I can't think of anyone that specializes in eBook design. It seems too simple for people to specialize?

Do a search on the Microsoft template site for "book" and you'll find some templates which you may be able to adapt.

Looks pretty nice! Seth is the guru of publishing tiny little books. :D

The best thing to do is to search in for more and more books, look out the skills of writing and the most important fact is cover page. Hire a graphic designer to have a well designed cover page. The cover page of a e-book is treasure to your business prosper.
