    Is there any problem with imageshack?

    I was having an account in imageshack and many of my blog's pictures were hosted over there. While doing a check it seems that many pictures are not accessible or missing. And i can't even login in to my imageshack account. Any idea? I don't have any copies of these pics with me...

    Sometimes it's just because their servers are offline (it's Imageshack where they don't really care about their website). But I've had the same problem, and from what I've heard than is that Imageshack sometimes just removes pictures who haven't been viewed for 'XX' time, or another silly reason to make some extra space on their servers.

    For the future, it's best to upload your pictures to Tinypic.Com or PhotoBucket.Com, both are from the same company and they're amazing

    How do you figure Aquarezz that they owned by all the same entity?

    @Hendricus
    I think that imageshack had some revenue trouble after the recession started.
    They may of deleted some old images.
    They also try to stop you from direct linking now by not offering direct image links on the upload page. They put a paypal button thing on their site too to join for $8 or something. You can see these things are not reliable for the long term. You should host the images yourself on your blog imo.

    @Aquareez I was hosting many pictures in photobucket before i started using imageshack. All in a sudden one day it was showing that the free limit of using the pictures (views) are over and go to premium hosting. So it was a tedious work for me to shift it. Now my plan is to host all the images in my own sites.

    TinyPic.Com is owned by PhotoBucket.Com, read the footer of Tinypic.Com and you'll see it

    And that's true, photobucket is a great service but it has its' limits
