Thread: BOTW, Yahoo Business directory or similar?

I am considering to submit my site some time in the future. Do you have your business listed and are you receiving targeted traffic from those listings?

BOTW is a good link directory to have and Yahoo directory is just another link.

Yahoo directory generated a lot of traffic for me 2 years ago. If you are in the top5 in your category that's great. Last year they put me in the last page of the category because I asked to modified the description and provided one more accurate than before. They completly screwed up my $300 annual souscription and reworked the description which has nothing to do with my original one.

The problem these days is that quality directories are overpriced and most of them charge you annually. As a result, I don't submit my e-commerce anymore on directories that charge annual fees.

doesn't sound as if anything determines where you end up yahoo directory. Randomly slap you on the first page or last page or anywhere between? that would suck!
