Cheapest way to print many pages?

    Hello,
what would you guys suggest me to print as cheap as possible?

    • Printing it at home, but with lowest profile and doing it on 'fast-mode'
    • Going to a local printing store
    • Something else?

It's for ebooks that I'd like to print out. What's an estimated cost for a book having 500 pages (guessing is great ).

    Thanks!

I would recommend a continuous ink system.

    In Bosnia:

    500*0.03 = 15 BAMS
    15 BAM / 1.38 = 10.86$ for 500 pages

they will make cover for you in that price

Move to Bosnia if you have lot of printing .

Otherwise I would get some ebook gadget reader and save the space and trees as someone said

Hmmm, bulk printing == somewhere like whatever we call the American "Kinkos" now-adays for the normal person....

I know what you mean though as far as reading the "printed word" versus Kindle, ebook, etc....
I just finished a project involving 2200 pages of content that require a 5 weeks to do on-site of the organization requesting the work.

I had to print a fair amount of their legacy material to make sense of it (as a computer guy)...a lot of that is the work environment required that I work on Word 2007 which is crap, but a lot is I went through high school in the not quite yet computer age too I'm sure.

I'll see if there's anywhere my way in S. Germany when I'm back that does cheap printing for your next trip east
    Cheers,
    James

Buy your own printer is best option for you.
I do have my own printer, it's just that 100 pages cost €5 and inkt cartridges cost €15 which is pretty expensive as after around 75 pages the inkt is completely gone That's why I'm searching for something else/better.

Yep, I thought about a Netbook, although people suggested me it's better to buy a small laptop instead since typing on a netbook sucks ass
