Experiences with Webmoney.ru??

Well you guys might not know this program, but it seems to be a pretty reliable payment system. We just started using it but so far it works fine!

What are the experiences of you guys with Webmoney? Are there even customers that use it to pay?

It's rather big a very popular in Russia, they have a few million customers.

I used it before to pay Russian programmers for some scripts and soft.
The authentication system is rather sophisticated, a few layers of protection and some soft you need to install to access your account. Be sure you don't lose the keys to your account, it's a mess to recover.

Beware of hackers also and don't keep much money there, it's not that safe.
There are sites that let you transfer to webmoney from from paypal for some 10-15% comission after a lengthy verification process - too many scammers in Russia, so these guys usually assume you're one till you can prove otherwise..

I prefer to stay away from any payment methods that are based in Russia(and a few other countries), based on the fact that there is a ton of hackers there and I am a little worried about getting scammed.

My "feeling" is that Webmoney has been around long enough to be trustworthy. If they were scammers, I don't think they would have survived for ten years.
