Thread: Fresh Trouble for PayPal India Users

PayPal has suspended electronic withdrawals for Indian users indefinitely.

This is new trouble, considering that Indian users have recently recovered from a similar mess.

Now thats another bouncer by paypal, thats a very sad thing that we are facing such a problem, now it will take 25 days to withdraw payment. THey are saying from 1st august , i want to know if we withdraw today then can we withdraw in the bank?

any problems with cheque withdrawal?

I can't even receive payments with Paypal, whenever I need to receive money online it's a giant procedure.

It takes around 20 days for the cheque withdrawal procedure to complete, if there are no postal delays.

According to PayPal, the problem is due to regulatory instructions. Did the banking rules change in India?

That's the same reason, according to them why we cant receive payments at all.

Paypal is not guilty..its the Reserve Bank of India..they are the ones who make/break/change the rules every now and then..even the previous issue was caused by RBI policy changes..thats what their support told me..

India users can do electronic withdrawals right now as you did before.

Paypal is also providing a refund of $5 USD for users that had requested checks
