Mike Allen from Politico was on ABCNews, talking with Bob Schaeffer about how the Obama administration is creating an enemies list.

    The list included:
    • The Chamber of Commerce
    • Rush Limbaugh
    • Wall Street Executives
    • FoxNews

That's our current administration's Axis of Evil. Note that Ahmadinejad and Chavez are surprisingly absent from the list.

Why should they be on the enemies list? It is only a matter of time before one or more of Obama's goons expresses admiration for them, as others in his group have expressed admiration for Mao and Castro. Why hasn't Obama apologized to Ahmadinejad and Chavez? He probably would have if not for the fact that he would get slaughtered in the public opinion polls if he does.

Fox News reported this morning that the White House invited the Press Corp for a interview with one of Obama's gang members, but told them that Fox was specifically excluded from the meeting. That violates the 5th and 14th Constitutional Amendments.

What is surprising is that ABC, NBC, CBS and others refused to attend the meeting unless Fox is included. It looks like they are seeing the light. If they do not play nice with Obama and play by his rules, Obama will kick them out of his sandbox. A president is not allowed to do that. There are issues of freedom of the press (to keep presidents honest) and the rights of equal access (to keep presidents from forming an exclusive club that does what they are told to do).

This is coming from president who is supposed to be a Constitutional scholar. We are currently seeing more Constitutional violations from this president than at any time since Roosevelt. At least Roosevelt had WWII to deal with and could justify his actions.

The White House is losing this one big time. When he starts losing his team of loyal leftist lacky reporters, he is also losing an important tool in the propaganda battle against those on his enemies list.

Wow -- that is amazing. Those guys have been nothing but lapdogs to the Obama administration.

I can't make myself believe this. They must be worried because all this abuse from the federal government has driven Fox's ratings up by 20%.

The media outside of Fox and Bloggers don't report this. The big story about Van Jones, the self admitted Communist and Green Energy Tzar, was basically ignored outside for Glen Beck and blogs.

It's really alarming when you consider the kind of damage that Van Jones could have done to the economy.

That reminds me of a Ronald Reagan quote, "Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

I love that quote. Will, I've got a book you'd love. Its called "The Quotable Ronald Reagan" by Peter Hannaford.

One of my personal favorites is from the Reagan/Carter Presidential Debates in October of 1980.

"The American dream that we have nursed for so long in this country, and lately neglected, is not that every man must be level with every other man. The American dream is that every man must be FREE to become whatever God intends he should become."

Another one that sticks out and is very apropo even today is:

"The Big Spenders in the Congress are at it again.... They've been inventing their miracle cures for which there are no known diseases."

Hey, the way it's going this forum is gonna be branded as "right-wing extremist propaganda" by The Administration.

Seriously, I like the general attitude here and it's neither surprising nor unreasonable. Somehow internet has been chugging along and prospering like crazy, bringing lots of people out of poverty and making many people who might have never been achievers and entrepreneurs into successful business people.

And now, typical of them, politicians and their governments come along with this crazy idea that internet needs regulation (as in one bunch of people telling the rest, ultimately at the point of a gun, how they should do their business).

I'm a fan of no politician, but if I went for the "worst evil" it'd probably be Ron Paul. But scratch that. I in fact do believe there's a way to "run the country" without politicians and it comes down to simply leaving each individual alone, leave everything to the free market, including defense, courts and law. I think there's enough evidence, especially in US and especially on the case of internet to prove that the freer the market the more prosperous the economy and the freer the people. So why not go all the way? Communism, socialism, state managed capitalism didn't work. What else is there? The only thing not tried is a pure free market, remove the state from the picture altogether, but not in a violent crash, but rather through intellectual evolution, careful phase out of governments and coercive politics.

People usually dismiss this referring to corporate abuses, but they forget corporations are a legal extension of the state. Remove the state and you no longer have corporatism. It's much too hard for a business to abuse their customers if they're the only ones who can keep them afloat and "bail them out". No more government to put your money into their pockets against your will.

Another common thing brought against total free market is welfare of the poor, but poverty has been largely fueled by regulation. Just think about how much more expensive everything gets when it gets bureaucratized. Opportunities are destroyed, potential entrepreneurs are de-motivated, prices go up..

And I could go on and on... :P

Fox is part of a five member network pool that manages the press corp issues. It is interesting that Fox appears to be the only one out of the group that is reporting that the group stood behind them. Apparently the lapdogs do not want to step too far out of line.

Administration Loses Bid to Exclude Fox News From Pay Czar Interview - Political News - FOXNews.com

The interview was with Obama's pay czar, Kenneth Feinberg. This is the guy who is cutting salaries for executives at the Wall Street firms, although legally he has no authority to do so. It is just another of Obama's evasive moves to separate him from controversial decisions. If you think a decision could backfire, just appoint a czar so that it appears that someone else is making an independent decision.
