So you're talking about efficiency right?
Ok, it's good simon. But we never know about the result of a business until we try it .
If we have idea, try to run it....failed/no is another problem. Try it first.

There is many crazy business idea, which make people skeptical, become so booming right now

    No?

What I'm saying is that I'm not sure why any student would pay you $50 (as an example) to teach them how to do their homework, rather than looking elsewhere and paying $50 for someone to actually do their homework.

Ok, in that case, we just make an option, buyer can choose to buy a finished homework without any explanation (video process/audio step by step), or with a video/audio.

Anyway, how much i can charge for this service (if i'm really running it?)?
    $5 / finished homework i think?

I think it'd be cool to make a community for trumpet players.

Hmm, there are already some pretty big community sites in this niche, just Google it

Akira, $5 seems a little underpriced if I'm honest. You should do the work at an extremely high qualtiy and charge more, otherwise they might as well get their little brother to do it for free

The whole point of using a service like that (as a student myself) would be to not only save time, but also get a good grade on. Lets be honest, if you're charging $5, it's probably not going to be a good mark overall.

Well setting up a complete site from scratches for a very small audience qould be a quite risky move (in the event you expect some revenue from it).

I hope I'm not trash-talking, but I reckon there can't be more than a few thousand trumpet enthusiasts on the web?

I'm guessing there are way more than a few thousand... maybe toward a few hundred thousand? Especially if you count in all the kids learning it at school? The trumpet is a very popular instrument. I think if you were going to make a close community like that, you need to make sure it's active before you advertise properly, otherwise more people won't join.

To advertise to such a targetted audience would, however, take up a lot of time, effort and probably money.

Maybe not as much time and effort than money. The advertisements cost will be huge, and the income very small!
So unless you create a forum, I don't think making big expenses for a such a risky attempt is worth it.

ok, what's monetization method you will get from that trumpet community? Because we in talking about business

    @simon
Ok, i think the price can't be crated fixed. We need to see the homework first, is hard/no. And then we offer price after it depend on level of the difficulty
