    1. Define a high number: This is how much money I want.
    2. Define a low number: This is how hard I am willing to work.
    3. Use those two numbers to create a compromise number: This is how much I really want to earn.

    Then do it.

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

    money goals are not helping

setting money goals are not helping.

Some times its depressing, working and not talking to people.

I can not think much before pc.

Only motivation I get is when I see my adsense. Some times bit down as well.

Since I started running, I feel a lot better. Before this, I couldn't stand the idea of leaving the computer for an hour or so. But, physical excersise is a very wise investment that pays itself off big time in the long term, you can even do more work on the computer, work more efficiently. I'm sure some people here can confirm this.

Besides that, enjoy what you are doing and setting goals are main motivators. Personally, I like some variety besides developing etc, I've got other ventures as well that keeps me motivated. And, last but certainly not least, spending time with the family to relax the mind a little bit.

Motivation can certainly be a hard thing.

These are the things I do often when I am PHP programming to get the best productivity:
    - No IM, only IM's open are to my employees
    - Scheduling my day and what I want to achieve is very important, Windows Calendar is great for that
    - Music helps
    - Blocking youtube helps
    - Deadlines help

Physical exercise, going outdoors & socializing in general. Most of my work is a very indoors & isolated process, and I need equal amounts of "outside" activity to keep the cycle in balance and feel refreshed.

    I like to win.

The thought of winning is motivation enough for me.

Mostly.. when I'm willing to stop, I just talk about it with a mate... mostly that tells myself I know much more about it than others.. so that's my motivation to keep going with things

Thats actually something I myself follow. It seriously does help. I look at the long run too, I make it seem bright, and work to get there
