How do you manage 100 websites/blogs?

There's no need to update them daily, still, in my case I do have a few "helpers" that keep the SE Bots busy every day.

Me and lots of part-timers, most of whom wander in and out based upon the schedules of their other projects.

.. or you can create a site that do NOT need update :)
