There are authors like John Chow and Joel comm who make more than US$25000 per month by telling people how to make money online.

I would also recommend Flipping websites by way of which you can make money online easily.

Content creation
Domaining
Link Building and link sales
SEO
Web Design
Web graphics
Programming

Here is my suggestion if your friends are experts, they should build a site like istockphoto.com, make tutorial videos or articles available for newbies, moderate and expert SEO, Marketing, programmation, etc anything people are looking for. Make tutorials electronic delivery at low cost with different pack prices, then a good support service or a serious pay customer service if people want more.

As you can see in all webmaster forums, newbies, mid level or experts will always learning new techniques or tips beside paying service companies tons of money, I am sure there is a huge market for that.

I'm not kidding at all.

When you buy those trashy e-books, the only people making the money are the ones sitting behind their computers selling you the e-books and those other 'get rich quick' schemes.

Yep. It's best to start small and not to quit your day job yet. Only do that if you are able to earn a steady monthly income that is equal or greater than your salary for at least 6 months.

Start with a business plan so that you have a target to achieve and a vision for your business. Do market research and see how well your competitor is doing etc.

I have different though (i do real business online), me and most of u guy live in two different world (develop and developing).

I just sell something which u guy needed and i can source in cheaper way.
What i did in the pass :
1. Name Card, (i print it here and ship it over to US, UK)
2. Uniform. ( i target those small medium Factory)
3. Movie. (legal copy, those out dated (disney) or old Movie is unwanted here, but totally different with state ppl (collectible item).
4. Auto Part. (which is hard or expensive to find in UK, Aus)
5. Some small part from car which i pay usd 2(here) and sell for 20 in bulk purchase or 60 to individual.

Internet just bring me closer to other western country, i just convert real business to online.
Btw those who source from me is not end user, they are reseller, so i believe it still got plenty space to grow ......

There's a lot of focus on MMO (Make Money Online). As SonnyCoolL pointed at this is still a lot of oportunity of crating and online business. In the end the money needs to come to the table some how. Otherwise you will have a pack of MMOs and the well will eventually go dry.

that's a great business model. If you can get the customers to trust you and handle efficiently all the shipping etc, there could be some pretty good profits made on the price differences!
