Too many people have abused their system. They had to do this.

It looks like maybe the Indian government put some pressure on PayPal and so now PayPal is putting some pressure on them.

The personal payments were probably costing them a lot of tax revenues.

PayPal and/or the Indian government made one of my MassPay payments disappear. That wasn't a "personal payment."

I just checked, a withdrawal made on 27th Jan 2010 has been reversed.

No details are mentioned, apart from "Transfer To Bank Account Reversed".

And PayFoe has eaten up some money in the process.

Thanks for the update. Due to your information, i have checked the paypal now and they have reversed the transactions which i have withdrawn to the bank. I am unable to think about what to do now whether to withdraw or not? Anybody help? What is your status? These stupid paypal people haven't sent an email notification too about bank withdraw which are reversed.

It seems RBI decided to return the PP money withdrawn in Jan-end, and used the current exchange rate.

Since the dollar's value in terms of rupees has increased since the withdrawal date, the PP balance is lower now.

When are these hassles going to end?

It looks like the only option for us is to wait for PP.

Damn, I wish I could catch hold of a Paypal employee and kick his ****, They should informed atleast, notified us. 3 of my payments got reversed and two of them were under goods with the shipping address provided. I have got one payment yesterday and another one today, it has not got reversed till, hope so it does not I pray. And ya this problems has truly been caused by RBI's change in policies. But Paypal also has a big fault, why should have they reversed the payments and moreover if they reversed then why not reverse the full amount, why did they took the cancellation free etc...Really the Gaypals have done it this time.
