Simple isn't it?
I completely agree with Yaro's article. The corporatist system we're living in has in so many ways severed our connection with simple reality. Today businesses are literally legally treated as "persons" even though in reality these "persons" are nothing but words, graphics and figments of our imagination. "Legal person" is BS. It's not a person because it doesn't exist. I could go on about the many problems this attitude creates in our economy and society at large. You'd be surprised.
But that sort of stuff goes through to our educational system and ends up instilling in us the expectation that if we are running a business we must act as if it's a collective rather than a venture of an individual.
If you're running a business alone I think not only is it good to use "I", but to also try associating some pride with it. If you're in business to provide value to other people (and thus earn money) you are a producer, you are great. Act like it rather than hiding behind the self-lessening "we".
