Thread: Macro Model or Micro Model for your new Web Business

When starting a new online business

Do you prefer to set-up :-

1. A Macro Global Business
2. A Micro Local Business
3. It does not matter which you choose
4. Both are OK

We have done a mix of all, but given the amount of work involved nearly equally in time and effort, we prefer the Macro Global Model as when established you have more options and usually many viable options to exit with a good profit

I also have both types.

You are right that it's more likely to make big money with a site of global interest, but I also have small niche sites of UK interest only that took little time to set-up, and in terms of income per hour spent on them they do very well - it's much easier to rate in the serps for a local, niche site.

It's best to have both, I think.
