My first business was a professional services firm which specializes in IT management and security consulting for Fortune 500 companies.

I don't work there any more, but I still own it.

Exporting fruit from West-Africa which is a seasonal business. Not much to do with IT or the net at the moment but I'm looking to develop a trading platform for local farmers and exporters to connect them to European importers in the long term.

We are exporting mango to Europe, the season runs roughly between April and July. This year will be our second season. Basically, it can be viable with only one customer if only i didn't make some beginners mistakes last year. This year we will probably have 3 customers in 3 different countries so it will be another learning experience but we are looking forward to it. We are also looking into exporting dried and organic tropical fruit but that is something for later.
