For unverified accounts, I think Paypal looks you with $500/month limit for life. But by the moment you've made the verification, limits will be changed to $500 a day. That's from my experience.

From my own experience paypal won't offer monthly limit of 500. They says that monthly limit is 500$. But practically the limit wont be lifted until you verify your account.
