    Random Payment via PayPal?

Demand Media, Inc. just sent you money with PayPal.

    -----------------------------------
    Payment details
    -----------------------------------

    Amount: $6.07 USD

    Transaction Date: Jan 11, 2010
Does anybody know why I would have just received this payment? I don't believe I have ever done business with 'Demand Media' and if I did, what would I have done to receive only $6? I'm pretty confused by this transaction, so many someone can shed some light.

Edit: Heh, apparently I had some old eHow account that I didn't know about! This payment was the outstanding balance from December. I had forgotten all about that site... maybe I'll get back into it.

You can always send it to me if you don't want it

=P I could use that money on a piece of content, Aussie. xD

It's not that I don't want the money, I just didn't understand where it came from - and then when I did, I didn't even realized it was owed to me. So, I'm looking at it like a small present to celebrate... Mid-January? =P I actually just put it toward a domain name for a new project. Wish me luck.

I was just messing around.. $6 isn't going to help the $50,000 medical bill I got in the mail the other day.

My wife had herself a series of heart attacks.. She had a stent put in and spent 3 days in hospital.

So the average stay in a hospital in the US is $17k a day or there about.

I can tell you, the food isn't worth $17k a day. I spent 1 night there with her after she get out of the critical care unit.

Oh yeah.. she can't get health insurance because she was born with a malformed kidney which causes her all kinds of trouble

So a birth defect is a pre-existing condition that they can reject you for health insurance over. Thats just dandy isn't it.

There must be a reason when you received a payment, glad that you've found out what is it for.
