Want to get verified by Paypal.

I am from India and just completed my graduation. I don't have a credit card yet as I am not in a regular job as of yet..but i want to get my paypal account verified. Please tell me how to do it?? Please dont post about VCCs as I wont be using them.

How about add-on credit card?? How does it work?? My dad and me both have accounts in the same bank. If my dad gets a CC, then will I get an add-on CC linked to my bank acct or my dad's bank acct??

you can't verify a paypal account without credit card or US Bank account

Why dont u open an account with ur dads name and use his CC as u would need the CC to be on ur name if u want to verify ur PP , and its totally safe to use VCC

That is what am I will have to do now I guess, have to create a new paypal account in his name and transfer my current funds there..

I have read of cases where paypal asks for CC details and may hold an account if found its been verified with a VCC.

u can always get an fake CC detail

You can verify your paypal account using an addon creditcard. Just apply for an addon cc as your dad having one real cc.

But that addon credit card will be linked to my dad's account..Will that CC bear my name or my dad's name?? right now I have been withdrawing my paypal $$$ to my own bank account(savings) which i opened while i was a student..so if that addon CC bears my name but linked to my dad's acct then I will have to withdraw my paypal $$$ to my dad's acct instead of my own acct..

Add-on credit cards will bear your name, not your father's name.

I've had some issues with this myself. - You do need a CC or a Bank Account. They need it as collateral.

Its in your name so you can get verified yourself at paypal using that without having any problem.
