Western Union Money Transfer?

I heard that western union money transfer is capable of doing online transactions across the world. Is it true?

Do any of our NetBuilders are using their service? I heard that its a 100% free service. Is it?

what are the countries they provide this service?
do they accept paypal funds?
is it instant?
where do they send the money? to our bank account or credit card?

Even at paypal they have give very good guidelines, FAQ, and help. But practically by my own experience many things they have explained in these area are either not clear or somewhat wrong. Example the fee structure, monthly limit lifting and similar issues. So that it will be always better to get advice from the ones who are experienced. I can easily search in google and get the url, FAQ and so and so,

But they can not give me an advice from the one who is doing transactions or having experience in it. That 's the actual reason and help from forums I think. So while I was doing the posting of this thread thinking that some guys who are experienced at western union may help me and all the others who does not about this.

Thanks for the information though. And before posting the thread itself I did a quick search at their site too

Western Union is not free; frankly it is damn expensive. I once sent a money transfer to Hong Kong and for a near 80 dollar transfer the fee was around 30 dollars. Perhaps online transfers might be cheaper as you are not dealing with an agent.

Other than that, though, I cannot help you. Will has already provided the best source of information you can get; getting it from elsewhere may get you opinion and misinformation more than anything else.

If you are in emergency it will be better to give a post in our Market place. You can definitely find a solution over there. So far am not familiar with WUM so helpless.

I actually found a friend online. But, it would be nice to have a service dedicated to that kind of thing. One that caters to all countries...
