I don't mean to be a stickler, but I think you're actually talking about copy. Copywriters write "copy" and that is what you use on your website: sales copy. Sorry, that was gunna bug me for a little bit...

I also agree that there will always be work for writers when it comes to sales copy. New businesses crop up all the time, and old businesses are always rebranding. It's a never ending cycle. :)
