Thread: What are your preferred online money services?

I'd like to get some feedback from buyers and sellers as to which online money service you prefer.

Apart from credit card (which requires a merchant account to receive funds) I only use Paypal or Moneybookers, but I know others exist? I use these two because it means my cc details are private, as is my bank account, and they both make it easy to accept payments from people in other currencies.

Too bad it's Paypal.. as they jerked of 950$ from me already...
Probably much more if I count all the stupid fees...

But almost everybody uses it so that's why I prefer that one

I'm getting a bit annoyed with Paypal as well. I'd prefer to use Moneybookers if more of my customers would take it.

paypal sucks, but it's easy, so for the lack of better that is my answer

I have always used Paypal. I find it to be really secure. I have had no problmes with them

I'm a PayPal user, pretty much because everyone else is.

So looking at the poll only two of us are prepared to use Moneybookers, the rest tolerating Paypal because everyone else uses them.

Here's a suggestion, why doesn't everyone who buys or sells on netbuilders also sign up for moneybookers and break the trend, at least on this forum.

Not so easy to spend.

We're kind of in that situation where... We're all waiting for each other to do so (so that there is enough stuff to buy with the funds).

PayPal sucks, but MoneyBookers is much harder to use. It took me months to get money into MoneyBookers.

AlertPay, eMoneyGram, and WesternUnion are worse.

I rarely spend money online, except for domains and hosting, so most of the money that comes into my Paypal or Moneybookers goes straight into my bank account, and is then spent offline (travel, rent, food etc)
