As for me, I've had a couple. Sometimes, people just always go power crazy, thinking consequences aren't going to apply to them.
He had other forums before this. ;) I have never had!
Ive been accused of being corrupt when disciplining people breaking the rules. :P
Ive had a few staff turn bad once they got promoted.. They've always been demoted before they can cause too much damage.

That was happened to me before, people have said when I was a Global Moderator on one. That I was too much of a Moderator, that I take the Rules too strictly. Of course I am going to do that, but I can get a long with people obviously. I know when to not play around, and when I can play around.
As for my other staff members, they seem to not be able to learn that lesson.

Depending on how many active members you have. You should demote them after a certain amount of time. Then try to start looking for new members.

You don't really even have to have that many staff to have problems with them, do you? I would say even if you only had one or two staff members, you could still have problems.
Anyways, me and my administrators and moderator get along pretty well. All disputes (at the moment) are resolved in a timely manner, and if there are arguments, we usually try to resolve them before they get too out of hand. Thankfully, we don't fight much, so we haven't had too many problems yet.
I've been most fortunate, as every staff member I've ever had has performed competently, and has never been unable to work with me. A few moderators didn't last long, as they did not remain active, though all but one of my fellow staff who remain have worked with me well before my forum even started in 2004.

It's hard to get committed staff. You just have to have patience into finding one. Though, just some people don't have that time these days. When they have something big their taking care of.
