Do you hide forums from guests ?

To the forum owners, do you hide forums for guests ? That they only can see if the guest becomes a member ?



On CF guests can see all forums like members do.

I leave all forums visible to guests. After all, I have no reason to hide anything, and it's especially important for a stand-alone, general discussion forum such as mine to show off its content.

I am half and half, I keep my highest post turnover board visible, but the more specific one hidden, I want people to join to see what is in the specific posts, but I know if I hide it completely then no one will join as it is in early days.

All forums are visible to members if they're a guest. This excludes the staff forum which is only visible to the staff. This goes for both of my forums.

I also leave it open for guests. I mean, how can they know what forum is this about when they can't see it? and of course, all is visible except staff room which is only for staff. ^^

Hmm, Im Thinking if im going to do this one. :) But for now? I don't hide forums from guest. Maybe the Backstage or the Staff-Section, I hide it from Members and Guest. :)

People just get annoyed, leave and go elsewhere.
