    Forum software!

    What is your favourite forum software and why?



    Mine is mybb free.

    phpbb3 all the way you do so much more then any of the forums

    I find PHPBB's mod site to be extremely hard to navigate, though.

    Also, hosted forums aren't good if you plan to expand your forum. Start with free hosting, where you install the DB and upload PHPBB. It's not too complex, and allows you to download your host so you can switch software and move host.

    I use Phpbb3 which is used through forumotion. ForuMotion used phpbb3 in their wide range of forum versions and is highly recomended by me.

    Unfortunately, I found this little tidbit out the hard way.Right now I am on a friends' server, and after several problems in the beginning, things are going quite well.
