Hacked

We were hacked just recently. I found out about this this evening, and I was seriously shaken up at first, but then someone recommended that I host with them, and now I did, and I'll have to start over again unless I can get a backup from my co-administrator, PM it to the site owner of the person who requested i host with them, etc... I'm in the process of creating new boards though. Sometimes I almost wish I didn't start doing this, but we now have a domain so it's all good.

It seems like it was hacked by JakJak.

I would be surprised if JakJak could hack the forum unless your password was really easy to guess. Also I'm guessing your PS account was hacked?

PS = Promotion Source? I haven't been on that site in ages, so I don't know. My Forum Promotion was though. I think it was a case of our password being all to easy to guess. Thankfully on FP, Fowler was kind enough to reset my password for me, which is the one I use on FP, as for Chatting Time, I think the Cpanel might have been hacked into, because I changed my password on the main forum a while back.

I'm sure you were using the cPanel password somewhere else, but for now on I have a random password for Chatting Time's cPanel to make sure we don't get hacked again

I haven't. I always change my passwords on everything to something long and random because being hacked is probably the worst thing that can happen on the internet.
