I think if a host is having downtime, then they just need to go offline. This world has no room for people who decide to be slackers.

Well downtime can be caused by alot of things..
- Server problems
- DoS
etc.[/quote]
That may be true, but the Server should be at it's best. As I said before, we do not have time for slackers.
Of course, though their are plenty of hosts that I love to host my websites' on. That would involve Hostgator.
They have yet to ban me.
Of course, I chose the last package they had to offer, though I forgot what it's called. Anyway, I use them, and have been using them for quite some time now.
No host has one hundred percent uptime. It's simply impossible.
It's frustrating when a host experiences downtime, but most paid hosts are very prompt in restoring service.

Already solved this argument. Anyway, I know that obviously their isn't going to be a Service Host that is going to stay 100%. So therefore, let me rephrase this; I think that any Host that has been down for more than 2-4 Days should stay dead.
Yeah, but I don't like it when the host is down for a long time. Some plans can be unlimited, as long as the person gets more, you need to buy more space.
We had downtime when we were with Fantastic Hosting in the beginning. The wait to find out why was torture. Any downtime on any host is torture, though, especially if you need to get on your forum to do something important.
