    Idea For Building Facebook Followers

Now I'm busy building a tutorials site, I was thinking about how to handle questions from readers. My site is not a blog, so there is no comments section.

The tutorials will be static pages with occasional updates, since the tutorials should be evergreen.

So, what I am thinking is to create a Facebook page where anyone who has a question can post it to the FB page. It seems like the ideal solution to me, and there is the social aspect of people liking the page to their FB account.

In the sidebar of the site, maybe add a prominent call-to-action image to talk about the topic on the FB page? E.g. Any questions on this tutorial? Post to our FB page.

And: follow updates to this site on Twitter.

Both work extremely well for me, bring life to my sites and no need to worry about spam like on blog comments. Same with Twitter updates. A lot of people who do not sign up on my site immediately do wind up following me on Twitter or fanning my FB page and then when reminded through updates of my existence join at a later time.
