Hey guys, i'm running a pc-tech forum (software, hardware, linux, programming, graphics, tutorials and such)

Any advice how to get some decent traffic on it?

1st thing you need to do is let the Net Builder community know the url of the site.
How are you supposed to attract visitors without that? lol

Haha, alright, cause it's prohibited to some forums of posted URLs and such.

try doing some seo and building backlinks

I would send out personalized email invitations to everyone I knew who might be interested in the forum.

I would also make sure that every sub-forum has at least one post.

You might also want to open a dedicated Twitter account and start tweeting important threads.
