Reason for creating your website?

What's your reason for creating your website? Did you make it to earn money only, or is it a hobby?

I create websites as a hobby and would be great to earn money as well.

I want it as a hobby and since every site i ever visited always had it's flaws, i wanted to be in control for once and adapt it totally to my likings and create a pleasant online community for people, without bitchy members, corrupt mods or useless options and annoying ads.

i create websites on two subjects



1) selling my services for money

2) raising issues that needs to be sorted.

I love forums. I also enjoy watching people enjoy so I started a forum about anything so we would have a set genre.

I spent allot of time helping friends set up sites, decided it was time to run my own. It's a hobby for me but do appreciate donations to help pay server cost.
