Switching from MyBB vBulletin

I have a site which I am currently using MyBB as my forum and I am trying to look into the future by thinking about converting to vBulletin later. The only thing is, is that when I make the switch I don't want to lose all the content. Is there a way to keep the content from my current forum and put it in another forum? If so, how would I go about doing this?

Will this script actually do it pretty much for you, or do you have to know the files that you need to move? I am really new to this, so if I wanted to upgrade, I wouldn't really know what files need to be put with this script?

I read the article you gave me and it seems like the user has to select the files.

You have to tell ImpEx the details of both databases, but I've never had to tell it data about individual files.

So all you have to input the databases and the script will copy the rest? I think I only have one database for my forum right?

You have to tell ImpEx about your old database and your new database.

This is done by editing impex/ImpExConfig.php.
