Same here. Another thing I look for is a friendly community. If members or staff are rude, don't plan on me being active, that's for sure.
Activity, determination, and staff.
Oh and of course interest in the subject.
The way the community is built.
Template, Theme and content.
The skin/template, the activity, kind staff and members and a topic I am interested in. :)
The board theme's and modification's definetely. Also the board's staff and guidelines you need to follow. But suppense what genre the forum goes by, as I can only join certain forum's as some forum's just don't fit me.
How much activity there are, the look, and how great the community is.
