I'm not a fan of phpBB myself, as a matter of fact i've been known to switch all phpBB forums i've ever owned to IPB![]()

They've had a functional Quick Reply since version 1.0 released way back when.

PhpBB is way behind. It's peoples favourite because they haven't tried other software like MyBB and it's all they know because it's what most free hosts offer and it's a cgi script install on cpanel.
It has improved a lot since the day they were using an ugly ProBoard's template layout. It is one of the best but MyBB is better I think as it picked up on phpBB mistakes and worked upon them.
